AIUTO: hd interno da buttare?

Ciao a tutti,
ho un acer aspire 2920 con in dual boot vista e ubuntu 10.4. Purtroppo sono stato costretto a spegnere a caldo la macchina che era andata in hang (non riuscivo nemmeno ad aprire un nuovo terminale). Al successivo riavvito, mi appare una spataffiata di errori al momento dello startup della macchina. POsto da dmesg:

Gli errori sembrano venire da /dev/sda6 (che sarebbe la partizione di swap).
Ho provato a correggere lanciando una distro live e lanciando un fsck, ma nel caso della partizione di swap mi dà il seguente output:

fsck.swap not found
error 2 while executing fsck.swap on /dev/sda6


Cosa devo fare?

Riguarda la partizione di swap quindi la macchina dovrebbe avviarsi regolarmente: ciò avviene oppure si "Incanta" e non ti permette un corretto avvio?
