Puppy ed anche Quirky funzionanno benissimo da me
A volte e meglio non usare la versione piu nuova.
Me ha sempre servito una descripzione che non ce piu sulla pagina di Puppy:
La uso anche adesso.
Puppy Linux 4.x
Hard Disk Install
http://puppylinux.org/wikka/HardDriveInstall1) boot LiveCD;
2) run gparted from concole and create 2 partitions
One(1) 0.5GB Primary ext3; 1.
One(1) 1.0GB Primary linux-swap; 2.
3) run Univ.Installer, pick IDE (ATA) internal Drive installation
4) install onto the ext3 partition you created
5) follow the onscreen direction from this point
Multisystem Grubloader Install
a) Choose normal not Coexist with puppy installation
b) Grubinstaller > into the Rootsector of the Linuxpartition
c) Console: dd if=/dev/hdaX of=/tmp/bootsec.lin bs=512 count=1 (SATA-Platte > sdaX....)
d) Copy bootsec.lin from Temp to C:/
e) change C:/boot.ini: c:\bootsec.lin="Grub > Puppy"
f) adapt Menue.1st at Linuxpartition in Boot/Grub/..
