Hard Disk Imation 250 GB

Ragazzi, apro un nuovo forum per questo problema.

Ho un problema nel far funzionare un hard disk esterno in Linux.

Connetto il hard disk, e dopo due secondi mi appare la icona sulla scrivania "APOLLO". Dopo qualche secondo, mi si apre una finestra di navigazione dove posso vedere le cartelle che contiene apollo!!! A quel punto, faccio doppio clic su qualsiasi cartella e da li non funziona più niente. Se faccio clic destro sulla icona della scrivania mi esce "smontare volume". Evidentemente, non è un discorso di mancanza di montaggio (il disco duro è montato). Da considerare che ho sempre usato quel disco duro solo in Windows.

@ Argos Prima il hard disk lo connettavo sulla parte davanti del pc (che forse fa un effetto tipo Hub USB...). Adesso l'ho connesso nella parte posteriore. Il risultato è sempre lo stesso.

Una info; anche in Windows per apparire i vari file nelle cartelle è abbastanza lento.

E' veramente strano questo fatto , non solo, hai anche problemi con la partizione /dev/sda6 no? , per quest'ultima, Io crdeo sia il punto di montaggio, creare un sotto direttorio /hd sotto la radice è per me strano , c'è un sottodirettorio apposito si chiama /mnt (mounted), e un'altro per i device esterni /media, il metodo Ortodosso è quello di assegnare i punti di mount delle partizioni in /mnt, linux infatti a bisogno di un "driver" per leggere le partizioni NTFS (NTFS-3g), e in fatti le monta in /media per difetto, come se fossero esterne.

mi permetterò di ri-postare  anche i tuoi files fstab e outputs vari, in modo d'avere una "mappa" della situazione come prima :

...in tutto questo "ambaradan"  ...quello che mi sembra più strano è che essendo una unità esterna USB dovrebbe effettuarne il mounting automatico non appena inserisce il cavo USB. In /etc c'è il file group, riportalo qui.

Infatti il mounting automatico lo fa....il problema è che dopo non si apre...

Comunque credo proprio che sia un problema di compatibilità del hard disk esterno, anche in Windows è abbastanza lento.

Più che altro mi premerebbe risolvere il problema della sda6 che non posso caricare...è la unica, anche le NTFS le ho montante in hd/.... e tutto ok. in root nella sda6 ci entro senza problemi..
